Compensation velve
As a result of atmospheric pressure changes as well as internal room temperature changes (e.g. during chilling) pressure differences between the rooms and surroundings occur, which may cause a complete destruction of its structure. Compensation valve (safety valve - siphon) is a device preventing the build up of extensive pressure differences. The valve structure ensures maintenance of room tightness.
"Water" valve - Siphon
- This device works both ways (negative pressure and overpressure).
- The siphon should be filled with glycol (freezing temp. -25°C to - 30°C).
- Connecting stub diameter - 110mm
- Maximum room size - 1000m³
- Two or more parallel siphons should be used in rooms larger than 1000m³.
"Dry" valve
- This device works both ways (negative pressure and overpressure).
- If using at low temperatures additional valve heating is to be used
- Connecting stub diameter - 110mm
- Maximum room size - 1000m³
- Two or more parallel siphons should be used in rooms larger than 1000m³.
Compensation sack
As a result of atmospheric pressure changes as well as internal room temperature changes (e.g. during chilling) pressure differences between the rooms and surroundings occur. The compensation sack reduces pressure fluctuations in the room and by doing that it restricts operation of the compensating valve which translates into reduces gas exchange between the room and surroundings.
- Typical compensation sacks are 3m³.
- It is made using special, durable, multilayer foil.
- Connector stub diameter: 90mm or 110mm.
